KVN Design eNews #9 - 01.23.06
I hope your new year has gotten off to a flying start. Compared to December things are relatively calm at KVN Design. This has been time well spent making quick work of several important website updates and website design work for AVID. Lexington Hearing & Speech Center:
Although their new website was launched in mid-December it lacked the full array of time-spanning, story-telling photography of Bill Straus.
Nearly a dozen photos have been added with more still to come. To learn more about the LHSC and to see their new virtual home, with photos,
visit: Lexington Hearing & Speech Center.
Cumberland Millwork & Supply:
Updates to the site include an expanded Contacts page and the addition of the About Us page. These are set to be posted at anytime now.
To learn more about Cumberland Millwork please visit their new website.
Ironhorse Forge:
No less than 15 custom-made portfolio pieces have been added to the Ironhorse Forge website in the last month with more still to be posted.
Covering the spectrum from ornate gates (including several of the most recognizable in Lexington), intricate stair rails, unique fireplace
screens, and one cool mailbox. To check out this amazing work visit their online Portfolio.
PAA:
Posted the Winter issue of their quarterly pediatric health newsletter. Full of great wellness advice and information the latest newsletter
can be found here: PAA Newsletters.
AVID:
Work on the all-new website for AVID (Audio/Video Interior Design) is well underway. A temporary home page has been posted
and a design for the permanent site has been chosen from the three mock-ups presented. AVID has a remarkable 15 year history of
designing and installing custom audio and video environments, including home theaters that look nicer than real theaters.
Other notes:
Due to the end-of-year website launch rush at KVN Design the
web site design portfolio page has been updated and split into two manageable pages (page 1 /
page 2). The web design portfolio now consists of 23 designs.
As a business owner, one of the greatest things KVN can receive is a
compliment from a customer. 2006 got off to a great start in this respect as Auto Gallery had these kind words to say about
their experience with KVN Design:
KVN managed to attend the last two ISBO (Independent/Small Business
Owners - www.isbo.biz) meetings. The December meeting covered the WiFi market in Lexington. Very informative and eye-opening. The
January meeting was a roundtable discussion on how ISBO members keep in touch with clients and maintain schedules and communication
sanity in this day and age. Cell phone? Blackberry? Email? Software? Old fashion day planners? Or a mix?
